Study: Nearly All Teens Are Gamers
A newly released Pew Internet Project study found that 97% of 12-17 year olds play video games in some form, including 99% of boys and 94% of girls.  Racing games were found to be the most popular with 74% of teens playing them.

Nintendo Sues Nyko
Nyko is known for offering peripherals that expand upon the offerings of gaming consoles. It appears that may soon change; Bloomberg is reporting that Nintendo filed a lawsuit earlier this week charging Nyko with copyright infringement on the Nintendo Wii Nunchuk.

PlayStation 3 Gets DTS-HD Audio
Next week's PS3 update will not only yield a revamped PlayStation Store, but will also have DTS-HD high resolution audio and DTS-HD Master Audio for the Blu-ray movies.

Sony Sees Sales Skyrocket
Following the highly-successful releases of Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV, Sony has noted a large increase in sales (double compared to its previous month), as the gaming industry has already grown 53%.

E3 Roundup
Wondering what you missed in this year's E3 Summit? Nintendo announced Wii Music, and a sequel for Wii Sports, as well as a GTA for the DS. Microsoft announced a 360 Final Fantasy XIII, and an Xbox Live redesign (based on avatars). Finally, Sony confirmed the discontinuation of the 40GB PS3 and announced a $399 80GB PS3 (with no backwards compatibility), as well as a new God of War III.

GTA IV: $4 Million in First Week
Analysts have projected that Rockstar Games can expect to sell $4 million within the first week alone. This would mean that Grand Theft Auto IV could beat-out Halo 3 to be the best selling video game of all time.
