Stronger Hanging Grip
While hanging, press R1 and then press R2 and L2 to do pull ups. After completing 100, the grip will increase.
Control Codec Messages
During a codec conversation, press L3 or R3 to zoom in, and use the Analog Sticks to move the cameras. Also, press R1 to hear your character's thoughts.
Unlock Extreme Difficulty
Beat the game and start a new one.
Marines in Underwear
In the room with the model of Raven, look at the picture of the man on the locker. Then, while in the room with Metal Gear Rex on the Tanker, the Marines will be in their underwear while the speech is being given.
Raven Shots Weapon in Tanker
When you run into the miniature model of Raven in the Engine Room of the Tanker, shoot it to make it shoot small balls around the room.
Unlock the Digital Camera
Beat and save the game. Then, load that game and start a new one.
Unlimited Ammo for Tankers
Collect 25 dog tags on the Tanker and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one. You will have the new item, "Bandana". When equipped, you will have unlimited ammo.
Unlimited Ammo on Plant
Collect 100 dog tags on the Plant and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one. You will have the new item, "Bandana". When equipped, you will have unlimited ammo.
Unlock Stealth Mode on Tanker
Collect 75 dog tags on the Tanker and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one.
Unlock Stealth Mode on Plant
Collect 150 dog tags on the Tanker and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one.
Unlock Unlimited O2 Levels for Plant
Collect all dog tags on the Plant and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one.
Unlock Unlimited Grip Strength on Plant
Collect 175 dog tags on the Plant and finish the game. Then, save it and load that game to start a new one.
Choose Episode to Play
Beat the game to get the option of playing the Tanker and Plant Episodes separately.
How to Get Dog Tags
To get a dog tag from a soldier, sneak up behind them, and aim your weapon while in First-Person view. Your character will then say "Freeze!" and the enemy will put his hands up. Run around to his front and aim at his face or "man-tools" to make him shake and drop his dog tag and other items. Be careful though, if you take your gun off him, they will attack.
Disable Enemy Communication
Enemies communicate and call for help by using a radio. They carry it on their back around the waste. If you shoot it, the radio will not work, and they can't call for help. However, they will try to run to get someone.
Birthday Message
When signing into the first node at the bottom of Strut A, it asks for some information about yourself. For birth date, put in the current date to see a birthday cake and message.
Defeating Vamp
Throughout the fight against Vamp, he dives into the water and swims around. Throw a couple grenades in it and it will hurt him and take away health. Also, when he comes out of the water, he tends to go onto a certain point on the bridge and he kneels down. Lay a C4 or claymore here to damage him. Then, for head to head combat, use the Stinger missile.
Wake Up Sleeping/Knocked Out People
To quickly wake up someone who is either knocked out or sleeping, spray Coolant into their face.
Temporarily Knock Out Someone
When an enemy sees you, hears something, or is confused, an exclamation mark or question mark will appear above their head. If you quickly shot the symbol, the soldier will daze out for a little while.
Funny Codec's
On the Tanker, find one of the posters of the girls. Look at it in first person view then contact Octagon. Also, on the Plant, shoot a few of the seagulls to get yelled at by Colonel and Rose.
